Kuleana is a uniquely Hawaiian value and practice which is loosely translated to mean “responsibility.” The word kuleana refers to a reciprocal relationship between the person who is responsible, and the thing which they are responsible for.
Owner/founder Kim Abair sought a creative outlet that would spread happiness and positive energy. Having been involved in crochet, scrapbooking and dried flower crafts over the years, she decided that custom greeting cards would be the perfect vehicle for spreading joy, and formed Kuleana Crafts to allow her to design and create cards that will brighten someone’s day. Most cards have dimension that does not appear in the photo, but bring the cards to life in person. Every card is created by hand, with the intent to bring smiles to faces and express the warmth of Aloha.
Our cards are handmade and are not high-volume replications. We pride ourselves on low-volume, unique and ‘individual works of art’. New options will appear in our gallery weekly. We hope you enjoy them and look forward to you sharing them with your ohana.
Kuleana Crafts is a small, woman-owned business located in Temecula, California.
